Day 1 : Kuala Lumpur - Cameron Highlands
Arrival at Kuala Lumpur. Proceed to Cameron Highlands, which is 1542 meters above sea level. Cameron Highlands is famous for its world-renowned tea. Along the way, we will stop and visit the famous Batu Caves where the shrine of the Hindu deity Lord Subramaniam is set within an outcrop of lime stone caves. Overnight Cameron Highlands.
Day 2 : Cameron Highlands - Penang
After Breakfast at hotel, proceed for a tour of Cameron Highlands visiting a tea plantation, tea factory, a vegetable farm and the market square. Following which, you will continue the journey and drive towards Penang. En route visit along the way include the Sam Poh Tong Cave Temple in Ipoh, the Ubudiah Mosque, Iskandariah Palace and Istana Kenangan Museum. Cross over to Penang using the third longest bridge in the world arriving in the evening.
Day 3 : Penang
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed for a half day "Around Penang" tour with visits to a batik factory, a nutmeg and clove stall, the Snake Temple and Wat Chayamangskalaram Temple. The rest of the day is free at own leisure.
Day 4 : Penang - Kota Bharu
Breakfast at hotel. After which, drive towards Kota Bharu using the East-West Highway. This highway cuts through the main mountain range and offers breathtaking views of the tropical rainforest. If you are lucky you may have to stop for elephants crossing the road. You should arrive in Kota Bahru in the evening. Check-in at hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5 : Kota Bharu - Tasik Kenyir
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, have a short orientation tour through Kota Bharu. Visit the colourful wet market. You can find a variety of local items like batik clothes, cloth of exotic patterns, fruits, vegetables, etc. After which you will depart for Terengganu.
Day 6 : Tasik Kenyir - Kuantan/Cherating
Breakfast at hotel. Tour continues to Pulau Duyung, Besar- fishing boats are built here using age-old techniques and tools. The largest island in the estuary. Drive along China Town and visit the colourful Central Market, Princess Hill (Bukit Puteri) with a good view of the city, Maziah Palace, State mosque and State Museum (the largest state museum in South East Asia).
Day 7 : Kuantan/Cherating - Kuala Lumpur
Breakfast at hotel, Drive from Kuantan/Cherating back to Kuala Lumpur. End of your tour in the city.

Singapore/Malaysia/Thailand
Day 1 : Arrival
Arrival at Singapore. Established as a trading port by the British in the early 19th century, Singapore became a centre of British influence in Southeast Asia. Overnight stay Singapore.
Day 2 : Singapore
A morning city tour after breakfast, which begins with a drive, pass the “Colonial Heart” for a view of Padang, cricket club, Parliament House, Supreme Court and City Hall. En route to Thian Hock Keng Temple, one of the oldest temples in Singapore, the coach will stop at the city's famous Chinatown. The tour then continues to the National Orchid Garden located within the beautiful Botanic Gardens. Our final stop at Little India will entrance you with the scent of joss sticks, jasmine and spices. Overnight at Singapore.
Day 3 : Singapore - Tampin - Malacca, Malaysia
Early morning transfer to the railway station for the 8:00 AM departure for an interesting three-hour train ride to Tampin (train timing subject to change). Enjoy the rural scenery as the train passes through villages and plantations. Overnight stay Malacca.
Day 4 : Malacca - Kuala Lumpur
Depart for Kuala Lumpur. Malaysia's capital is a curious blend of the old and new. It is also a blend of cultures; the Malay capital has a vibrant Chinatown and an Indian quarter. Overnight Kuala Lumpur.
Day 5 : Kuala Lumpur: City Tour
A tour out to the countryside that take you past the Ambassador's Row and continues into the countryside to view typical Malay villages and modern residential areas. Visit a pewter demonstration centre and a batik factory before arriving at the Batu Caves where 272 steps lead you to a holy shrine enclosed in a limestone cave chamber. Overnight stay Kuala Lumpur.
Day 6 : Kuala Lumpur - Cameron Highlands
Depart for the Cameron Highlands, located at 1542 m (5,088 feet) above sea level and famous for its tea plantations and cool temperatures. En route we visit a basket weaving cottage industry, Lata Iskandar waterfall, and a native settlement. Rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the cool, crisp air of the Cameron Highlands. Overnight stay Cameron Highlands.
Day 7 : Cameron Highlands - Penang
Morning tour of the Cameron Highlands; including a tea plantation, tea factory, and market place. After lunch we depart for Penang, enjoying the varied scenes of Malaysian life, as we pass the elegant mansions of the millionaires who profited from the rich tin mines, and the small huts of those who labour to make a living. Rows of rubber trees with their small cups of the white latex oozing from the trunks can also be seen. Our journey takes us by Buddhist cave temples, some with elaborate paintings or carved figures of Buddha. After we pass Butterworth, we cross by bridge over to Penang. Overnight stay at Penang.
Day 8 : Penang![]()
Penang was acquired by the British East India Company in 1786 and became the oldest British settlement in Malaysia. The tour includes Fort Cornwallis, which was built by the British East India Company in 1808. Next we visit the Museum, built in 1821, which houses a fine collection of old photographs, maps, charts and other historical relics, and the world's fourth largest reclining Buddha's statue with a length of 33 m (109 feet). Overnight stay at Penang.
Day 9 : Penang, Malaysia - Bangkok, Thailand
Morning transfer to Butterworth to board the international train to Bangkok. Overnight stay on board the train.
Day 10 : Bangkok
Morning arrival in Bangkok. Free day in Bangkok. You may choose to participate in optional excursions including a visit to Kanchanaburi. Overnight stay at Bangkok.
Day 11 : Bangkok - Pitsanolok - Sukhothai - Chiang Mai
Fly to Pitsanolok, the birthplace of King Naresuan the Great of Ayuthaya, and his kingdom. Overnight stay at Chiang Mai.
Day 12 : Chiang Mai
Tour of Chiang Mai and the surrounding area. Chiang Mai has over 300 temples, and its old heritage attracts a lot. Overnight stay at Chiang Mai.
Day 13 : Chiang Mai - Mae Sa Valley - Chiang Mai
Morning visit to the Mae Sa Elephant Rehabilitation Centre and an orchid farm. The road you travel will take you through different sceneries. Overnight stay Chiang Mai.
Day 14 : Chiang Mai - Chiang Rai
In the morning travel from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai, founded in 1262 by King Mengrai. Overnight stay Chiang Rai.
Day 15 : Chiang Rai - Golden Triangle - Chiang Rai
A full day trip to the famous Golden Triangle where the borders of Laos, Burma, and Thailand join. Overnight stay Chiang Rai.
Day 16 : Chiang Rai - Bangkok
Proceed to Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand. Optional activities will be arranged. Overnight stay Bangkok.
Day 17 : Bangkok: City Tour![]()
In the morning, visit the Grand Palace situated on the Chao Phraya River. Started in 1782, the complex is a collection of buildings covering over 0.9 sq mile. Within the grounds, visit Wat Phra Kaeo, known for the venerated Emerald Buddha. Since its discovery in the 15th century, the Emerald Buddha has known many homes, including Lampang, Chiang Rai and two locations in Laos, Luang Prabang and Vientiane. Overnight stay Bangkok.

Departure from Bangkok.

Travel to Koh Pha Ngan by ferry and continue by jungle pick-up truck to Thongnaipan beach, one of Thailand's most beautiful beaches. Overnight in beach bungalows.
Day 4-6 : Koh Pha Ngan
Three full days to do as you please. There are many options; snorkelling, diving, jungle and waterfall walks, boat trips to surrounding highlights and just lazing on the beach.
Day 7 : Satun
Leave the island paradise and catch the ferry back to the Thai mainland. Continue to Satun, a fishing town on the Andaman Sea coast.
Day 8 : Penang
Travel via Butterworth to the famous island of Penang with its beautiful colonial buildings and wonderfully atmospheric Chinatown - one of the most exciting in the region.

A free day to explore the markets, beaches and interesting buildings of Penang.

Head back to the mainland and journey south to the spectacular hill country of the Cameron Highlands.
